What will we find in this excursion?
Pessons cirque is a must see when hiking in the Andorran mountains. It's the biggest granite glacier cirque of the Principality, and one of the biggest in the Pyrenees. Seven summits between 2.500 and 2.800 metres height form a mountain semi-circle. Inside it, we find 20 ponds (25% out of the total number of ponds in Andorra). The lowest one can be found at 2.300 metres height. The starting point of the three levels will be Grau Roig ski resort car park, at 2.100 metres height. Today we will find ourselves in a really high mountain environment.
